A Structural Equation Modeling Modeling Analysis of the Related Factors of Sexual Function and Dyspareunia After Vaginal Birth

Background: According to the importance of postpartum sexual dysfunctions and their effects these cases on quality life couple, this study aimed determine vaginal function dyspareunia. Methods: This descriptive-analytical was performed 400 women with a history natural childbirth in 2020 - 2021 Hormozgan Province, Iran. The demographic obstetric checklist, function, dyspareunia questionnaires (Carol Scale) were used. For data analysis, “SPSS 18.0” Software for Partial least squares (PLS) modeling, Smart PLS Results: mean age 26.74 ± 6.12 years, average overall score 27.18 8.62. All amounts cross-validated communality indicated appropriate acceptable present research model. absolute goodness fit (GOF) tested model 0.41, indicating model's fit. Age, spouse age, education, number intercourse, marital satisfaction directly affected after birth. In contrast, duration marriage indirectly correlated birth through (P < 0.01). study, spouse, education had direct indirect effect Conclusions: Poor can cause dysfunction delivery. Therefore, it is hoped that by using results similar ones identify factors affecting training couples healthcare providers, relations emotional performance between will be established strengthened more than before.
